Concert Series Expands with Upcoming Show

A local Freehold resident is bringing performances for serious music fans to town.

Being Bruce Springsteen’s hometown, Freehold has a lot to live up to musically. With the help from one local resident, the upcoming Live from Freehold Concert Series, will transform Freehold from your typical everyday town, to a hot spot for all music lovers.

Live from Freehold began with local commercial photographer, Mark Costanzo. An avid music fan himself, Costanzo, began bringing bands to perform at his studio for local audiences. As more popular groups frequented Costanzo’s Studio Sessions, the demand for more shows and a larger venue ensued.

“There have been other musical performances in town but nothing like this before, this is more geared towards serious music fans,” explained Costanzo.

, Live from Freehold will be adding more shows to their line-up once all the kinks with machinery and potential town venues are worked out. If everything goes according to plan, the concert series will be able to accommodate crowds as large as 200 people in local venues.

“This will be the start of something positive in town,” said Constanzo. “Freehold has never had anything like this before.
