The US Women's Soccer team won the Gold Medal today after defeating Japan 2-1 in a nail-biting rematch of the 2011 Women's World Cup.
Japan defeated the U.S.A for the title in 2011, but on Thursday the team was led by Carli Lloyd, who scored two goals, and more than a few dramatic saves by goalkeeper Hope Solo.
The win is the USWNT's third straight gold medal and fourth overall.
