Overturned Tractor Trailer Closes Route 18 In Colts Neck
The road is expected to be open again by 12 p.m., according to police.
COLTS NECK, NJ — Route 18 is closed in Colts Neck due to an overturned tractor trailer, officials said Tuesday morning.
According to Colts Neck Police Department Lieutenant Brian Caswell, the tractor trailer was a full-sized dump-truck blocking both lanes and the shoulder of Route 18.
The Department of Transportation has advised that the roadway will be closed for an extended period of time due to the crash. According to police, detours are currently set up and the road is expected to be open again by 12 p.m.

There are no injuries at this time, Caswell said.
Officials are currently asking people to avoid the area.
