Report Card: Asher Holmes Outperforms 91% of NJ in Academic Achievement

The recently released NJ School Report Cards show Asher Holmes Elementary School has outperformed 91 percent of New Jersey in academic achievement.
According to the NJDOE, academic achievement measures content knowledge in language arts and math as measured by NJASK scores.
Asher Holmes outperformed 71 percent of ths schools in its peer group, which are schools determined to have a similar demographic.

The report card analyzes college and career readiness, which is measured on the elementary level by chronic absenteeism. Asher Holmes outperformed 69 percent of schools in the state, and 29 percent of the schools in its peer group.
Student growth is measured by the performance of students on standardized tests from one year to the next. The school outperformed 45 percent of the state and 40 percent of its peer group, based on 2011-12 school year results.
