Report Card: Robertsville Elementary Performs High in College Readiness

The school exceeded state targets in college and career readiness.

Robertsville Elementary School received high marks in college and career readiness, according to the NJ Department of Education School Report Card.

In the category, Robertsville outperformed 90 percent of the state and and 92 percent of its peer group. College and career readiness, which is measured on the elementary level by chronic absenteeism. 

Robertsville has two percent chronic absenteeism, below the state's six percent maximum.

The state categorizes anything above the 80th percentile "very high performance." The peer group is made up of schools determined to have a similar demographic, including in special education.

Robertsville outperformed 42 percent of the schools in its peer group in academic achievement.

According to the NJDOE, academic achievement measures content knowledge in language arts and math as measured by NJASK scores.

Student growth is measured by the performance of students on standardized tests from one year to the next. Robertsville outperformed 68 percent of its peer group and 59 percent of the state.

The school met all of its No Child Left Behind targets in language arts literacy and math. 

Nineteen percent of the school's population is considered disabled, totaling 90 students.

In Monmouth County, Robertsville's peer group is made up of Lincroft in Middletown.
