Residential Fire Contained In Marlboro

A residential fire that broke out Tuesday night was extinguished within an hour of the fire being called in to Marlboro PD, police said.

MARLBORO, NJ — A residential fire broke out on Boundary Road in Marlboro late Tuesday night, Marlboro Police Captain Stephen Levy said.

Marlboro Police received a 911 call regarding the fire around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Levy said. Marlboro EMS operated on scene for approximately three hours, according to officials.

The fire was extinguished about one hour after the fire was called in to Marlboro PD, Levy said.

Following the fire, Levy said one adult male who lived at the residence was having some breathing difficulty. The man was checked out by Marlboro EMS and not transported to the hospital, according to police.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Marlboro Township Police Detective Bureau, Levy said.
