Road Closed Near Route 79 In Marlboro As Truck Brings Down Wires

MARLBORO, NJ — Harbor Road is closed at Route 79 due to a truck that pulled down cable and power lines, according to a transport alert from Marlboro Township.

Detour signs and barricades are set up at Route 79 and Tennent Rd. All vehicles can currently enter and exit Harbor Rd. via Tennent Rd.

Police are on location and crews from JCP&L and Verizon have been dispatched, according to the alert. Marlboro Township is urging residents to avoid the area if possible.
