Snowfall Not as Drastic as Initially Anticipated in Marlboro and Colts Neck

The area is now forecasted to have about one inch of snow on the ground.

Wind is responsible for power outages in Marlboro and Colts Neck, but it's also responsible for pushing an impending nor'easter to sea.

On Tuesday, Marlboro and Colts Neck were forecasted to receive between 3 and 5 inches of snow. But the area woke up to green grass and black pavement.

Now, snow is forecasted to fall between midnight and 2 a.m. on Friday morning. However, meteorologists say temperatures won't drop enough to have initially forcasted significant accumulation on the ground.
