New Martial Arts Program Launches In Chester Borough
Varying degrees of skills are taught to students aged 4 to 17 years old.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A new way to keep children in shape, teach them discipline, and help them make friends has just launched in Chester, a martial arts program.
The program is held on Thursdays starting on Jan. 15 and runs until March 15. It takes place at the Chester Fieldhouse at 107 Seminary Avenue
There are three sessions per week, varying by age group. See times and age groups below:

4 to 7 years old: 5 to 5:45 p.m.
8 to 12 years old: 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
13 to 17 years old: 7:30 to 15 p.m.
“A fun and rewarding way for kids to learn,” a statement read. “Our skilled instructors teach respect, self-discipline, and focus in a fun and age-appropriate environment, helping students build strength, coordination, and reliance through martial arts.”

The skillsets taught in each age group vary, with young martial artists learning the foundations, and older students learning more advanced skills like kickboxing, muay thai, jiu-jitsu, and other martial arts.
