Morris Plains Business to Host Alzheimer's Clip-a-Thon

Stop by on Tuesday from 3 - 9 p.m. at Great Clips of Morris Plains

It is estimated that as many as 5.1 million Americans may have Alzheimer's disease and the disease is rising in line with the aging population, according to AFA. The number of people age 65 and older will more than double between 2010 and 2050 to 88.5 million or 20 percent of the population; likewise, those 85 and older will rise three-fold, to 19 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

To help combat this growing issue, the Great Clips of Morris Plains is having a Clip-A-Thon on Tuesday from 3 - 9 p.m.  All proceeds from haircut sales will be donated to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America

Great Clips is located at 1767 Route 10 East in Morris Plains.
