MORRISTOWN, NJ — Get your sweet tooth ready. Morristown's historic South Street Creamery has officially added a new counterpart: a French-style bakery.

South Street Patisserie, the newest addition to South Street Creamery officially opened its doors earlier this month, bringing French-inspired desserts to Morristown.

The new bakery is located within South Street Creamery, at 146 South Street, in Morristown, and was first announced by the ice cream shop at the end of December, although details at the time were scarce.

South Street Patisserie is open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to store officials.

Although no official menu has been released, the bakery has promoted pastries such as passion fruit macarons, matcha eclairs, chocolate raspberry mousse cake and French caneles.

According to officials, the South Street Patisserie space will now occupy over half of the South Street creamery location.

The South Street Creamery Café has been in Morristown since 1999 and is still a family-run business that promotes a commitment to crafting wholesome food that people will feel good about sharing with their family and friends.

"That is why we insist on hand selecting the finest produce and meats which we carefully season and roast in our Creamery kitchens. Our motto is 'Always fresh. Always homemade.'" the business bio reads.
