JCP&L: 1K Remain Without Power In Morristown, Morris Twp

There are still nearly 8K without power in Morris County

MORRISTOWN, NJ—Five days after Tropical Storm Isaias uprooted trees and knocked out power to thousands in the county, residents of Morristown and Morris Township are finally seeing progress.

JCP&L reported 466 outages in Morristown and 549 in Morris Township on Sunday, hundreds less than Saturday.

"More than 8,000 utility personnel...continue working around the
clock to restore power," said JCP&L spokesman Cliff Cole.
