JCP&L Sets Deadline For Power Restoration
The utility hopes to have most service restored by next week

Jersey Central Power & Light, which provides electricity to most of central and northern New Jersey, has established a Global Estimated Time of Restoration of 11 p.m., Tuesday, August 11.
"This means 95 percent of the customers currently out of power will have their power restored by that time," said a statement issued by the company Wednesday night.
Morristown customers accounted for 1,950 of the nearly 100,000 in Morris County without power.
