ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. faced a challenge from Adam Kraemer in the 2022 general election. Polling places closed on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

As of Friday, DiVincenzo had a wide lead over Kraemer. With 541 of 565 districts reported, here are the unofficial results, according to the Essex County Clerk’s Office:
- Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. – 127,156 votes (80.18%)
- Adam Kraemer – 31,430 votes (19.82%)
