66-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies In Pleasantville Crash: Police

PLEASANTVILLE, NJ - An Atlantic City man died Tuesday night after a fatal collision on the Atlantic City Expressway in Pleasantville, authorities said.

New Jersey State Police Troopers responded to the crash at around 5:33 p.m. near milepost 3, a state police spokesperson said.

Per an initial investigation, a Mercedes Benz C- Class was traveling east on the ACE in the left lane when pedestrian Roland T. Marshall, 66, crossed the eastbound roadway from south to north and was struck by the Mercedes, state police said.

As a result of the crash, Marshall sustained fatal injuries, state police said.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.
