Beach Tag Giveaway Draws a Crowd at Community Center

With less than two weeks to go before the price of seasonal beach tags increases from $20 to $25 in Ocean City (on June 1), WFPG-FM 96.9 came up with an even better deal on Monday: free beach tags.

For the 10th year, Lite Rock continued its pre-Memorial Day tradition of handing out 96 free tags — one per person. The radio station asked listeners to line up in front of the to receive their giveaway.

The radio station will be giving away more beach tags on Tuesday in Brigantine at Mad Dog Morgans, 3000 West Brigantine Avenue, and on Wednesday at a yet-to-be-announced location in Margate or Ventnor.
