Bruce Hornsby and Noisemakers Play the Music Pier on Tuesday

Tickets were still available Monday night for a Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers concert on Tuesday (July 24) on the .

Hornsby and his band are on a summer tour and promoting the 25-track live album "Bride of the Noisemakers."

A songwriter and keyboardist, Hornsby won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1987 on the strength of the album "The Way It Is." A unique mix of rock, jazz and jams has been his trademark in a long and diverse career since then.

Tickets ($35) for the show are on sale through Ticketmaster (with $7.10 in service fees) or at the Music Pier Box Office 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

A  on the Music Pier also includes these remaining shows:  Charlie Thomas' Drifters (July 30), The Machine (Aug. 6), Little Feat (Aug. 20) and Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels (Aug. 27).
