Polls Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Municipal Election on Tuesday

Ocean City voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, May 8, to pick a City Council representative from each of the city's four wards and to vote on a public ballot question on allowing restaurant patrons to bring their own beer and wine to restaurants.
The polls will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and polling places are as follows (numbers indicate ward-district):
- (1-1)
- (1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5)
- Eighth Street Recreation Center (2-1, 2-5)
- Ocean City Sports and Civic Center (2-2, 2-3, 2-4)
- (3-1)
- (3-2, 3-3, 3-4)
- (3-5)
- (4-1, 4-3, 4-4, 4-5)
- (4-2)

The ballot in Ocean City will include the following races (voters can vote only in their own ward):
- First Ward: vs.
- Second Ward: vs.
- Third Ward: vs.
- Fourth Ward: vs. vs.
The ballot also includes a binding initiative question on an amended ordinance to allow BYOB restaurants in Ocean City: Read the proposed BYOB ordinance.

A "yes" vote would allow BYOB restaurants in Ocean City. A "no" vote would continue Ocean City's current prohibition of BYOB restaurants.
