Investigation Continues in Sunday Night Crash Into Marshes
No summons has yet been issued after a Jeep drove off Roosevelt Boulevard.

A 2011 Jeep landed in the marshes near the 34th Street Bridge in a single-car crash on Sunday night.
Police responded to a call at 11:53 p.m. Sunday (June 3) and found the vehicle unoccupied just off Roosevelt Boulevard in the Marmora section of Upper Township near All Seasons Marina and the 34th Street Bridge.
The incident involved no injuries.

State Police Sgt. Brian Polite said early Monday evening that an investigation of the crash continues and that no summons has been issued. (State Police initially had said on Monday morning that summonses for careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident had been issued). The name of the driver will be released pending the outcome of the investigation.
Investigators said the car was still operable after it was pulled from the marshes, according to State Police.
