400 Pounds Of Weed Found In Car, Two Arrested: Bergen Co. Prosecutor

A large haul of marijuana roughly the same weight as an adult male gorilla was recovered during a traffic stop.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A large haul of marijuana roughly the same weight as an adult male gorilla was recovered during a traffic stop, according to sources.

A total of 400 pounds of weed was seized from a Ford Transit van driven by two New York, men on I-95 south through Bergen County, police records said.

Both Jin Wusong, 30, and Shen Wenleng, 29, and were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and then remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an initial court appearance, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

The driver, Wusong, was pulled over in Teaneck for alleged traffic violations, when the officer, assisted by a K9, found 19 cardboard boxes containing 400 vacuum-sealed bags of suspected marijuana, each weighing approximately one pound, inside the van, an affidavit said.
