Loyal Librarian and Family Woman

Jane M. Uber (nee Gormley), 78, of Paramus, NJ, formerly of Butler, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 after a valiant five-year battle with breast cancer.

She was a loving, compassionate, caring, selfless woman who dedicated her life to her husband, her eight children, her fourteen grandchildren, family and friends. Jane was a loyal 25 year employee of the Paramus Public Library. 

Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Donald R. Uber (2006). Devoted mother of Susan Kuchera and her husband, Richard of Basking Ridge, Kathy Alicakos and her husband, Evan of Ringwood, Greg Uber and his wife, Darlene of Milford, PA, Steven Uber and his wife, Yvonne of Paramus, Donald Uber and his husband, Francis Warburton of Paramus, James Uber of Oakland, Jean Pinyan and her husband, Christopher of Randolph, Patricia Uber and her husband, Joseph Soter of Highlands.

Loving grandmother of Brian, Jeffrey and Elizabeth Kuchera, Michael, Colleen and Kellie Alicakos, Gregory, Derek and Jacqueline Uber, Bryan, Brandon and Jennifer Uber, Megan and Daniel Pinyan. Dear sister to Richard Gormley and his wife Dolores of Longmont, CO. Sister-in-law to Dorothy Richards and to Thomas Uber and his wife Dottie. Beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Susan G Komen for the Cure or Friends of the Paramus Public Library would be appreciated.
