Bergen Professor to Discuss North Korean Conflict
Presentation set for Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Bergen Community College.

Bergen Community College Professor Dr. Kil J. Yi will discuss the ongoing conflict involving North and South Korean during a presentation set for Wednesday, April 17 at 12:30 p.m. at the Paramus campus.
Yi serves as a weekly columnist for the Korea Daily. He has visited North Korea twice in recent years.
The Korean Peninsula is currently at the height of tension as North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un has repeatedly threatened a nuclear strike on South Korea, Japan and the U.S.

Last month, North Korea eliminated the 1953 truce that effectively ended the Korean War and said it was nullifying the joint declaration on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Yi will present questions to the attendeeds as to what North Korean seeks to gain through its action.
