Video Shows Car Parked On Top Of Another Car At Bergen Mall

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Parking is often at a premium at New Jersey malls, but one driver took it to another level at The Outlets at Bergen Town Center recently.

A video posted to Twitter Tuesday shows a Mercedes Benz parked on top of a Toyota at the mall. It was filmed by Twitter user @max_zavian at about noon.

Zavian said he did not see the Mercedes park on top of the Toyota, but heard a noise "turned around and saw the cars on top of each other."

Zavian said police and security were at the scene quickly with a tow truck.

Maywood police Chief Joseph Natale and Detective Sgt. Matthew Parodi could not be reached for comment.

Diane Morrell, Natale's administrative assistant said that the driver of the Mercedes Benz was trying to park, hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, and went over a median and on top of the Toyota, NorthJersey.com reported.
