DCH Honda Donates Vehicle to Paramus EMS

The Paramus Emergency Medical Services has a brand new vehicle in use thanks to a generous donation from DCH Paramus Honda.

Mayor Richard LaBarbiera recognized Brian Lam, general manager, of DCH Honda during the Sunday reorganization meeting presenting him with a certificate of appreciation.

The donated 2013 Honda Pilot LX will be used round the clock by the PEMS as the EMT crew chiefs command vehicle, according to the chief. Crew chiefs are on duty 24/7 and will use this vehicle to respond to calls in a supervisory manner or to provide assistance to the responding crew.

It's equipped with life saving equipment like an ambulance has and also has radios for which to commuicate with police, fire, paramedics and hospitals.
