Continued Hotel Plan Testimony Delayed to December
Zoning Board hearing on the Oster Apartment's application to construct a 6-story extended stay hotel has been rescheduled from Nov. 8 to Dec. 13.

Further testimony regarding a proposal from Oster Apartments to construct at 6-story extended stay hotel on the end of a residential street in Paramus which was planned for the Nov. 8 Zoning Board meeting has been postponed to Thursday, Dec. 13.
Public hearings regarding the proposed development date back more than a year. Plans call for a 135-unit, 6-story Marriot Residence Inn which would be constructed on a piece of property between Route 17 and Maple Street.
Recent hearings over the past two months featured testimony from professionals on the building height, as well as parking and unit designs. Numberous concerns from area residents have been voiced at the recent hearings as homeowners are concerned about how this development would affect their neighborhood.

The Zoning Board hearing will continue Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
