High School, West Brook Roof Replacement Slated for Summer
Paramus School Board approved a number of projects Monday night which will get underway this summer.

Roof replacement work at Paramus High School and West Brook Middle School are slated to begin this summer.
Monday night the Paramus Board of Education awarded contracts for the work at both schools. The contract for Paramus High School went to Clifton & Clark in the amount of $278,300 and the contract for West Brook Middle School was awarded to Arch Concept Construction, Inc. for $362,711.
Steven Cea, business adminstator, explained the district has worked with the vendors before and have history with the facilities.

The board also granted a contract to TSUJ Corporation of Wayne to put in generators at the high school and both middle schools buidlings at the cost of $377,027.
Lastly the board awarded a contract to ACP Contracting of Fairfield for HVAC and control replacement for Params High School Community School in the amount of $369,000.

Money for the projects had been previously allocated from the district's capital reserve fund.
Cea told board members an exact start date for the project has not been set but the work must be complete by the end of the summer as per the contracts.
