Maximum Bail Set for Man Accused of Killing Paramus Woman

Philip Cise, of Dover, now awaits trial in Pennyslvania for charges he faces from the fatal accident that claimed the life of Paramus' Gabrielle Reuveni.

Philip Cise, the man accused of killing Paramus' Gabrielle Reuveni with his vehicle last summer, is being held on $250,000 bail, the maximum amount, in a Pennyslvania jail while he awaits trial, according to a NorthJersey.com report.

Cise, of Dover, faces vehicular homicide charges in the fatal accident that claimed the life of 20-year old Reuveni last July.

According to reports, authorities alleged that Cise was driving the Chevy pickup truck which struck Reuveni as she was jogging in the Poconos while on vacation last summer.

Cise was charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, and homicide by vehicle, last October after a blood test showed he had the depressant Gabepentin in his system at the time of the crash, according to an NJ.com report.

Cise was returned to the Pike County Jail in Pennsylvania this week to await the trial, according to previous reports.

Days earlier he appeared in Morris County Superior Court where he was sentenced for jail time for minor charges for two incidents that also occured last July but were unrelated to the fatal accident.

Reuveni was the valedictorian of the Paramus High School Class of 2010.

According to NorthJersey.com Cise is expected to make his next appearance in court on May 14.
