Nearly 600 Still Without Power in Paramus as Athena Nears

Latest work plan from PSE&G shows work to restore the final 595 customers who have been without power for more than a week due to Sandy may not be resolved until Saturday.

PSE&G's latest repair plan released Wednesday shows the remaining 595 customers still left in the dark for about 10 days now as a result of Hurricane Sandy may finally have power returned before the weekend.

However many fear that the winds and snow of the projected Nor'Easter storm Athena could delay repairs and cause more power outages.

According to PSE&G the plan over the next four days involves restoring power to 66 customers Wednesday, 78 on Thursday, 94 on Friday, and 232 on Saturday. There are no specifics provided regarding which areas will be serviced first.
