New 'Obsession' Opens at Garden State Plaza

Meatball Obsession is now open at Garden State Plaza.

The mall announced Monday on its Facebook page that it is now home to the New York-based company which claims to be the "home of the original meatball in a cup."

Located in the mall just outside Express, Meatball Obsession serves up its four different types of meatballs — beef, turkey, chicken and pork sausage — in a cup or in a sandwich.

According to the company's website, Meatball Obsession was founded by Dan Mancini who decided to launch a company based on his grandmother's recipes which she brought over from Bari, Italy.
