No. 2 Paladins host No. 5 Ironmen Friday Night

The Paramus Catholic Paladins look to get to a perfect 6-0 before playing the No. 1 St. Joseph's Regional team next week. They've got to deal with Don Bosco first.

The Paramus Catholic Paladins are ranked second in the State and they host the sixth Don Bosco Prep Ironmen Friday evening.

This is one of the most anticipated games of the season for Paramus Catholic despite the Ironmen being 2-3 on the season.

The Paladins go on the road to play St. Joseph Regional, the No. 1 ranked team in New Jersey, next week, which could make them susceptible to the dreaded trap game this week.

If Paramus Catholic defeats St. Joseph’s next week, they will surely take over the No. 1 ranking in the state. This is, of course, if they get past the Ironmen at home Friday night at 8 p.m.

The Paladins have outscored their opponents by a combined 193-55 through their perfect 5-0 season thus far but Don Bosco has outscored their opponents as well despite their losing record.

On another note, millions surround their televisions each Sunday to watch football, hang with buddies and eat delicious food. Food Network’s Tyler Florence will be at the game Friday night in a food truck sponsored by Stouffer’s. Samples of kicked up macaroni and cheese will be available.
