Many Free Art, Music, Earth Day Events In North Jersey Sunday
From an Earth Day festival at a state park to art demonstrations, Hudson and Bergen counties are hosting several free and paid events.

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — Want to celebrate the Earth, enjoy live music, appreciate art, or see dogs walk around in costume? There are at least four free events in North Jersey on Sunday to help with all of that.
Garden State Art Weekend began Thursday and runs through the weekend, with numerous events at studios in Hoboken, Jersey City, and around the region. Get more information here.
Earth Day Celebration at Bergen County Zoo in Paramus — The zoo's annual Party for the Planet takes place Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dozens of organizations, including the Bergen County Utilities Authority, will be at the zoo with giveaways and activities. The Bergen County zoo is located in Van Saun County Park, 216 Forest Ave., Paramus. More information is here.

Daffodil Festival And Earth Day Fair: Visitors to this annual Ridgewood event will get to enjoy free live music, educational displays and programs, a petting zoo, a constumed dog parade, demonstrations, crafts, and vendors specializing in sustainability and natural products and services. The event will take place at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Find out more here.

Hoboken Earth Day Celebration & Music Festival — This free event will take place Sunday on the west side of town, from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. The event, run by Main Street Pops and co-sponsored by the Hoboken Business Alliance, is held at Monroe Center Plaza, 770 Jackson Street. Organizers say, "This year's festival will feature an exciting lineup of local bands, delicious food trucks, live animal encounters, upcycled arts and crafts, fitness demonstrations, and a Green Marketplace showcasing eco-friendly vendors."
