Paramus Board of Ed Honors Longtime Outgoing Trustee Frank Straka
Frank Straka served the Paramus Board of Education for 15 years.

Outgoing longtime Paramus Board of Education trustee Frank Straka was honored Monday night for his 15 years of service to the school community by his fellow board members.
Upon presenting him with a plaque, Board Vice President Joanne Bermann said Straka always voted in the best interest of the students in all the years he was on the board.
Fellow board member Anthony Balestrieri called Straka “totally dedicated” in all that he did for the board. Superintendent Ken Rota said Straka has always been a great help and guiding hand to him since he came on this year.

Straka ran for re-election this November but did not make the cut in a race of seven vying for the three available seats.
Next month the Paramus Board of Education will swear in newly elected Alison Donoghue, a transition coordinator for River Dell High School along with Board President Anthony Feorenzo Jr. and trustee Bernadette McCausland who were both re-elected to new terms.
