Paramus Catholic Football Shuts-Out One of Maryland's Best
The Paladins are ranked in or around the top 10 of most national rankings after a 28-0 drubbing of Gilman, (Baltimore).

The Paladins of Paramus Catholic opened their season on Sunday at home with a 28-0 win over Gilman High School of Baltimore, MD.
Jabrill Peppers, who is one of the nations top recruits, racked up 99 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine offensive touches.
Gilman, who entered the game ranked third in the state of Maryland according to MaxPreps.com, kept the game close in the first half and trailed 11-0 at the break.

It was a 17-point third quarter from the Paladins that put the game out of reach.
Paladins quarterback Steve Shanley went 19-25 and threw for 229 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Shanley did throw an interception, but his 76 percent completion rate was enough to overshadow any mistakes.

Keyon Washington gained 152 yards and a touchdown on his 24 carries and was really the offensive workhorse for the Paladins.
Paramus Catholic will travel to play Delbarton, of Morristown, Saturday at 1 p.m. The Paladins are currently ranked third in the nation according to MaxPreps.com, so come out and see what big time high school football is all about.
