Paramus Council Chambers Makeover Almost Done
See some the first images of the newly refurbished courtroom.
The long-awaited transformation of the courtroom in the Paramus municipal building is almost complete.
"It was well worth the wait," Borough Administrator Joseph D'Arco said Wednesday outside the room as workers continued putting in the final touches.
In addition to municipal court, the room is home to regular mayor and council meetings, as well as zoning board and planning board meetings.

The room's new look includes new carpeting and lighting and perhaps the most anticipated of all — new seats. The old seats had shown considerable wear and tear.
All the work is expected to be completed by next week.
