Paramus Delta Gas Station Revises Convenience Store Plans

Zoning Board of Adjustment will hear further testimony on the plans in June.

Golden Fuels presented updated plans to the Paramus Zoning Board last week for the proposed convenience store it wishes to add to the Forest Avenue Delta gas station in place of its current service garage, NorthJersey.com reported.

No decision regarding the proposal was made last week and the Board will hear further testimony on June 20. The applicant seeks a variance as a convenience store is not permitted use for this zone.

Among the proposed changes to the plans  includes the removal of one pump bringing the total down to four opening up more space on the site, the website reports.

Updated landscaping plans will create more of a buffer and lighting adjustments were made in order to not impact neighboring properties, NorthJersey.com reported.

Golden Fuels has also changed its signage plans no longer requiring a variance.
