PARAMUS, NJ - A 31-year-old Paramus father faces charges after authorities say he assaulted his own infant.

Avery Foote, a married security guard, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.

On Tuesday, his baby was taken by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center with a skull fracture, broken rib, broken wrist and retinal bleed - all signs indicative of physical trauma, Musella said.
