Paramus Has Nearly All Power Restored
Latest report from PSE&G shows less than 5 percent of the borough still without power from Sandy.

Twelve days after Hurricane Sandy, the borough of Paramus may finally be near the 100 percent power restoration mark.
More neighborhoods reported power had been returned on Wednesday just before the Nor'Easter Athena reached the Paramus area.
There were no further power outages reported as a result of the snow storm which brought about three-to-three inches of snow to the borough.

The latest PSE&G repair plan issued Thursday shows there are 537 customers in town still without power a slight decrease from the plan the company released Wednesday which showed close to 600 customers still without.
The remaining customers still out is just under 5 percent which falls in line with the latest report from the Governor's office that about 95 percent of PSE&G customers in the state have had power returned.

Governor Christie stated Thursday all power should be restored by Sunday. According to the PSE&G plan the remaining outages in Paramus should all be repaired by Saturday.
Patch received reports of sporadic power outages throughout the day Thursday which according to the PSE&G website states may be expected while repair work in the area is being done.
Although power may be returned to a neighborhood there may still be one or two customers still without power in those areas.
Therefore customers are reminded to report outages to PSE&G to ensure they are on the list - call 1-800-436-PSEG (7734).
