Paramus High School Principal Search Resumes This Week
Plans for the Delta gas station convenience store continues, and singer Olly Murs comes to Garden State Plaza.

Paramus Board of Education continues its search for a permanent principal for the high school.
The board will interview candidates this Monday night during a closed session meeting preceding the regular public session which is still set for 7:30 p.m.

Anthony Panico continues to serve as interim principal for this 2012-2013 school year. The board brought Panico on last August to take the helm of the high school for a one year period. Panico, who has more than 40 years of experience in education, came out of retirement to take on the temporary position.
Panico replaced former principal Kurt Karcich who went on to become principal of Point Pleasant High School.

The Paramus Zoning Board will hear plans from a Forest Avenue Delta gas station which plans to convert its service garage into a convenience store.
Testimony continues Thursday night on the plans which were first heard in February. The applicant, Golden Fuel, seeks a variance in order for the convenience store which is not permittted use at the site.
Fans of singer Olly Murs can have a chance to meet him this Thursday at Garden State Plaza. The first 500 fans to purchase Olly's album at Best Buy on Tuesday can get a wristband in order to meet the singer Thursday evening. Vist the mall's Facebook page for more info.
