The new design includes a charm bar where shoppers can mix and match bracelets.

PARAMUS, NJ - As part of an effort to revamp its retail stores, popular jeweler Pandora is rolling out a redesign to 10 locations across the globe, including Paramus, according to a report.

By November - just in time for holiday shopping - the first redesigned store in the U.S. will be open at Westfield Garden State Plaza, NationalJeweler.com reported.

The new design, Pandora said in a press release, is aimed at "creating a welcoming and interactive environment."

It'll feature a charm bar where shoppers can mix and match bracelets and a treasure table showcasing new products and bestsellers. It'll also have a new lighting design that reduces energy consumption by at least 20% compared to current Pandora stores.

"Technology has changed how customers are shopping. With so many online choices, it is no longer enough for a brand just to sell high quality products. Visiting a Pandora store should be an intuitive and playful experience. It should be about discovering the treasures within. We are making the store a destination you want to spend time at,” Mette Starup, Pandora's retail Vice President, said in a press release.

Altogether, 10 stores in England, the United States, Italy and China will be refurbished with the new concept, while 1,000 other Pandora locations will receive updated window visuals.

Within New Jersey, there are seven Pandora locations and 13 retailers sell the brand.

The Danish manufacturer and retailer, known for its customizable charm bracelets, is in the midst of a brand relaunch, which includes redesigned stores and new collections.
