Paramus Rescue Offers 'Safe Halloween' Party for Youngsters

Annual event provides a safe place for Paramus' youth to enjoy food and fun on Halloween.

The Paramus Rescue Squad will once again host its annual "Safe Halloween" party on Oct. 31 for all children in town.

The rescue squad has been hosting this event each year over the past decade since the events of 9-11, says John Pecoraro, captain of Paramus Rescue. The idea is to give the children of Paramus a safe place to go to celebrate Halloween, with food, music and prizes.

The party is open to children of all ages. It runs from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31. It will take place at the Paramus Rescue Squad located just across from the Paramus Police Station.
