Paramus Schools Host Parent Support Workshop Thursday
All district parents are invited to join in a workshop Thursday to share their experiences, concerns and ideas in the wake of the terrible tragedy that occurred in Newtown, Connecticut.

Paramus schools are reaching out to its students parents inviting them to a special workshop this Thursday evening to share their concerns and thoughts as a community in the wake of this terrible tragedy that occured in Newtown, Connecticut.
Cindy Miller, Paramus school social worker and psychologist will facilitate this gathering which is set for Thursday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Paramus High School cafeteria.
The idea is to bring parents together to share experiences and perspectives with one another which can be an emotionally and physically restorative as well as an empowering process, the note sent from the school district says.

Discussion will also cover how parents can support, guide and protect their children and adolescents.
