Pedestrian Killed By Car On Paramus Street: Prosecutors
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Paramus on Wednesday night, prosecutors said.
PARAMUS, NJ — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Paramus on Wednesday night, officials confirmed.
Eduardo Cinca, 82, of Paramus was struck just before 7 p.m. near 278 Fairview Ave., said Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti.
He was attempting to cross the road from west to east when he was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck, Guidetti said.

Paramus police performed lifesaving measures but Cinca was pronounced dead at the scene, the chief said.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Paramus police are investigating. No complaints had been issued as of Thursday morning, police said.
