Paramus High School students Michael DeSimone and Kishen Pujara have been selected to attend a week long leadership conference sponsored by the American Legion next month. The experience mirrors government in a model state including government bodies and elected officials. It provides training in practical citizenship, leadership and character development. Nominees are chosen for their scholastic abilities, academic leadership and community service. The local American Legion interviews the nominees to choose their local delegates. The Boys' State Conference will be held June 16 – 21 at Rider University. - Information provided by Paramus High School.
