Recent Paramus Retirees Make the $100K Pension List
New Jersey Watchdog releases updated list of six-figure pensioners which includes 26 from Paramus.
Three more retirees - 2 from the Borough and 1 from the Board of Education - have made the $100,000 state pension club, according to New Jersey Watchdog's latest report.
The report shows that a total of 26 retired employees between the Paramus Board of Education and the Borough are on the list of 1,474 retirees statewide who make more than $100,000 a year in state pension.
Recently named to the list are recently retired school superintendent Joseph Lupo. He joins three other former superintendents on the list - Janice Dime, Harry Galinsky and James Montesano.

Retired police Detective Sgts. Kevin J. Delaney and Kurtis P. Massey, who both retired in 2012, are now on the list along with 22 other retired borough employees who are paid $100,000 in state pension.
Borough Administrator Joseph D'Arco has told Patch previously that pension payments make up about 7 percent of the Borough budget. Like Delaney and Massey, the majority of former borough employees on the list are retired police officers.
