Rescue Squad's Halloween and Charity Auction Coming This Week
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in Paramus this week
MONDAY: The Paramus Rescue Squad's annual "Safe Halloween" party for the borough children will now take place Monday, Nov. 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. The event which now also has "Give thanks" theme as Thanksgiving is around the corner is set up to be a real treat for the kids providing them with some Halloween fun in a safe environment. Food, music, prizes, and of course candy are among the features for the kids to enjoy.
TUESDAY: The Mayor and Council meets at 7pm for a work session.
WEDNESDAY: Prime Time Early Learning Center on W. Century Road will be holding an Open House at 9am for parents to meet the teachers and see the classrooms.

THURSDAY: The Planning Board meets at 7:30pm.
THE WEEKEND: Central Unitarian Church is hosting its 12th Annual Outreach Auction on Saturday, 6:30pm. This year's Gala Event, with 100% of all proceeds will benefit the following charities: Bergen County Sanctuary Committee, Center for Food Action, Family Promise of Bergen County, Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County, Holley Childcare & Development Center, Outreach Angels and Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative. This gala evening features a live auction as well as a Tricky Tray, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and much more.

The Paramus Public Library will host a concert by the Libby Richman Trio, playing smooth jazz and original compositions, Sunday 2pm. This concert is free and open to the public with first come seating.
Games of the WeekParamus and Paramus Catholic
- Paramus Catholic Volleyball vs. St. John Vianney, Monday 5pm (State Tournament).
- Paramus Volleyball, date/time to be determined (State Tournament).
- Football schedules for the state tournament have yet to be released. Any first round games are expected to be played Nov. 16-17.
All scheduled games are weather permitting.
