Spartans, Paladins Football Dominate Weekend Opponents
The two Paramus high school football teams made short work of their weekend opponents. Both have big games this upcoming weekend.
The Paramus Catholic Paladins and the Paramus High School Spartans both came away with impressive wins over the weekend.
The Spartans went on the road to play the Braves of Indian Hills High School in Oakland. It was all Spartans on Friday night as Paramus pulled ahead and secured a 27-0 lead at halftime. The game ended with the Spartans on top 37-7.
It was a very well balanced game for the Spartans. They put up points on offense and could have likely pitched a shutout if it wasn’t for a late, consolation touchdown allowed with about one minute remaining in the game.

The Spartans are now 3-2 on the season and face off against Wayne Valley in Paramus on Friday.
The Paladins of Paramus Catholic played host to St. Mark’s. According to maxpreps.com, St. Mark’s was the third ranked team in Delaware.
