Paramus now sits atop the standings in their division after a 35-7 drubbing of the previously undefeated Ramapo Raiders. Paramus is tied up at 5-2 with Pascack Valley.
The win Friday was the fifth straight victory for the Spartans who have a week off before heading on the road to play Wayne Hills.
According to northjersey.com, the Spartans defense was the driving force in this game. They racked up four sacks and only allowed seven points to a high-powered Ramapo offense.
