Four Seek 3 Seats on Paramus Board of Education
Deadline to file petition for the November election was Tuesday.

Four candidates have filed their petitions to run for three open seats on the Paramus Board of Education in November.
Sharon L. Bower, the Board's current vice president, and trustees Anthony A. Balestieri and Jeffrey Warren all seek re-election this year.

Usman Chaudhry, who was one of the challengers last year, looks to unseat one of the Board members. This is the second year in a row Chaudhry has entered the race.
A software engineer and resident of the borough since 2004, Chaudry has said he wants to give back to the community and help the kids of Paramus succeed, as per his campaign website launched in 2012.

Jeffrey Warren, a controller for the Sealed Air Corporation, seeks his first full three-year term. He was elected in 2011 to complete a two-year unexpired term.
