Free Touchless Breast Scans Offered Today Only
The Bergen Women's Healthcare is the only NJ office offering a free NoTouch BreastScan throughout today

To continue raising awareness of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a Pennsylvania-based company UE LifeSciences, Inc will be offering free NoTouch BreastScan until 6pm Thursday night at Bergen Women's Healthcare, 1 Sears Drive, Paramus.
"As part of our commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness, we are offering NoTouch BreastScan for free for a day in Paramus," Mihir Shah, Founder & CEO, UE LifeSciences Inc. said. "This technology is FDA cleared for adjunctive breast cancer screening and is suitable for women with dense breasts, women who are yet not age eligible for mammogram and women at high-risk for breast cancer."
The NoTouch BreastScan utilizes infrared digital imagery to take multiple pictures of a women's breasts combined with cool air to bring the body's temperature down. By doing so, the scan will identify any abnormal blood vessels that remain warm which could lead to the development of an abnormality.

A mammogram, which is the most common tool for breast cancer detection, looks for physical features such as cysts, tumors and masses.
"No tool is 100% so we want to promote a multi-faceted approach between mammograms, scans and the NoTouch," Matthew Campisi, Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer of UE LifeSciences said. "The NoTouch can be used on pregnant women, young women, older women and at-risk women and they will get their results the same day."

The NoTouch BreastScan, which takes approximately 10 minutes, is meant to be used to in conjunction with conventional tests such as Mammography, Ultrasound and MRI, rather than eliminate the use of the latter.
