The heist, which made off with $250K in jewels, took about two minutes, and the whole thing was caught on surveillance video.
On Valentine’s Day, thieves rammed a stolen pick-up truck into The Jewelry Center in Paramus, and used a stolen backhoe to steal about $250,000 worth of precious gems – and according to a new report, the whole thing was caught on tape.
Surveillance video footage of the heist obtained by ABC-7 shows several thieves crashing into the western wall of the store with a stolen Ford truck, ABClocal.com reported.
The thieves then wrap cables around a safe filled with jewelry, pull it into the parking lot, and raise it into the truck with a stolen backhoe, the report said.
